Hey prayer warriors! Thanks so much for your prayers!
Well, it's been a roller-coaster of a summer. From a rough start: dental problems, low finances, last-minute changes to plans, to a great finish: enthusiastic new relationships, effective fundraising, continued ministry, and safe travel.
We're now safely home, and gearing up for the start to the new school year. We're still actively seeking out new funding, and are already starting to book next summer's VBS & church visits. Over this summer we were still in
contact with many of our students, so we look forward to continued relationships with them as we swing into the new year.
Please join us in praying for:
*AICM: New direction, staff, and methodology: for a good fit and consistent student base.
*Red Sands: New oversight, staff, and many more students: for logistics and a fresh start with new kids.
*Majestic Music: New store location: for the ability to continue ministering to students who have "graduated" our program.
*Administration: Lots of catch-up work, for diligence and stamina.
*Continued and renewed financial and prayer support and developing relationships from this summer's new contacts.
*For a refreshed and energized vision of God's compassion and love.
*Physical and spiritual protection for students, staff, families, volunteers, and ourselves.
*Pray for each other as prayer supporters!
And specifically pray for:
*The young man preparing for leadership while battling the consequences of his former actions
*The student getting completely engulfed in drugs
*The young man hoping to enter a high-intensity discipleship program with JPUSA in Chicago
